I’ve been hacking computers/microcontrollers interfaced with electronics for nearly 20 years Projects have ranged from the building of a video digitiser connected to an amstrad 8086, built whilst studying computer applications in electronics at Napier, the development of a Differential GPS system for the North sea fishing industry to a satellite communication system using Inmarsat-C and shore based terminals that evolved into a full blown tracking and communication used by Shell UK for the operation of their North Sea Oil field supply vessels.
